If the books are a mess, that is common. We can schedule cleanup as a separate project. Then monthly bookkeeping starts after the books are current.
What should I have ready before our bookkeeping consultation?
For our call, please have an estimate of your yearly revenue, a list of your business bank accounts and credit cards, and the number of employees. If you’re not sure on exact numbers, rough estimates are fine—we’ll use them to see how complex your books are and where to focus first.
Will you tell me if my current bookkeeping setup isn’t working for contractors?
Yes. During the consultation, we’ll look at how you’re tracking income, expenses, and job costs. If something isn’t set up in a contractor-friendly way, I’ll explain why, and outline simple next steps.
